The Orlando John talent agency usually works within the music- and movie sphere, representing names like Wyclef Jean and Joel Kinnaman.
But now they make their move into esports with the signing of Astralis CS:GO team, Mikail ”Maikelele” Bill, Emil ”HeatoN” Christensen and Jonathan ”Loda” Berg.
”Esports are growing at an exponential rate. I've seen fast growth before but this is something else. The esport stars will become just as normal as music stars”, Peter Strömberg, head of Orlando John e-division, tells Breakit.

Names like Joel Kinnaman and Wyclef Jean have become household all across the globe, and now their agency Orland John have seen a similar potential within the world of esports as they tie up a number of high profile players.
From CS:GO, they now represent the danish Astralis squad, Mikail ”Maikelele” Bill, NiP owner Emil ”HeatoN” Christensen and have also signed Dota2 star Jonathan ”Loda” Berg.

”Esports are growing at an exponential rate. I've seen growth before but this is something else. It's a phenomenon and we feel that we wanna be a part of this journey”, Peter Strömberg, head of Orlando John e-division in Sweden, tells Breakit.

”He's the Zlatan of esports”

Regarding the profiles they've tied to their ranks, this is what Strömberg had to say.
”These players are extremely famous. Some can't move around without bodyguards when they visit Asia. And Emil is the biggest one. Getting him was a must. He was the first one we thought of when we started talking about entering the esports industry. He's the Zlatan of esports”.

”Will be just as music stars”

Now the agency has big plans for their newly signed stars, and will work with them the same way as they work with their artists and movie stars.
”We want esport players to get their own line of perfume just like regular stars. Esports is growing fast and the esport stars will become just as normal as music stars”, Strömberg tells Breakit.
